CAPITAL BREWERY

Capital Brewery was founded in 1984 to brew traditional German style lager beer in America and brewed their first two styles of beer in copper kettles obtained from the Krekeler Brewery in Hoxter, Germany in the spring of 1986. The kettles are still in use today and we still make Special Pilsner and Munich Dark! We have branched out to include American style ales, barrel aged beers, hard seltzers, and several distinct IPAs. Capital Amber (our largest seller) has been available in cans since 1999... Capital Brewery Company, Inc. was founded on March 14, 1984, held a public offering of common stock in 1985, and brewed the first batch of beer in the spring of 1986. It is a publicly held company registered in the state of Wisconsin.
