CDRF

China Development Research Foundation (CDRF) is a national public foundation under the Development Research Centre of the State Council (DRC). It was established in 1997 and registered with the Ministry of Civil Affairs. Its mission is to advance good governance and public policy to promote economic development and social progress. The foundation organises the China Development Forum (CDF); carries out social pilot projects related to areas such as child development and green development; and undertakes important research projects on topics including economic and social issues, as well as sustainable development. CDRF's policy proposals have received much attention and instructions from the central leadership, and it has become a high-level think tank featuring international exchanges, social experiments, and policy research.
