Cory Hudson

Cory is the Adult Basic Education Coordinator at CCHEC. She helps people who are working to obtain their high school equivalency certificate through HiSET or GED testing. Cory also oversees the testing center where tests are administered and proctored for students and community members. In addition, Cory coordinates adult education classes, such as ESL (English as a Second Language) and Spanish classes. She genuinely enjoys her job and helping people reach their goals!

Janet Garcia

Janet Garcia has lived in Wyoming since she was five years old. The Cowboy state holds a huge piece of her heart. In her spare time, she enjoys spending long days out on the lake, exploring the countryside, traveling, and expressing herself through creative outlets. Janet started working at CCHEC in 2006 when Kid's Campus first opened. During her time at Kid's Campus, she was an assistant director and pre-k teacher. Those positions lead her to pursue her Child Development Associate Credential in the Early Childhood Education Field and she later got her certificate to teach Safe Sitter. Janet is currently a student at Western Wyoming Community College and her goal is to earn a degree in Social Work. There are so many things Janet loves about CCHEC: CCHEC's purpose, values, and overall welcoming environment for all students. Janet brings great ideas to life through CCHEC's community education programming and promotes CCHEC in our community.

Karen was born in Denver, Colorado but she calls Wyoming home. The wide-open spaces, beautiful landscapes, and wonderful people are beyond compare. During the long winters Karen loves to read, watch movies, organize closets and pantries, move furniture around, and get creative making things she finds on Pinterest. Lifelong learning is important, and Karen has been taking college classes through Western Wyoming Community College for several years and may even eventually earn a degree. Karen also participated in and completed the Leadership Carbon County Program in 2019. It was a great way, to meet other leaders in our community and see how the county and city work independently and together. Karen is the Executive Assistant at the Carbon County Higher Education Center. She has been with CCHEC since 2001, working behind the scenes organizing, partnering, problem solving, and helping in any way possible.

Ryanne is originally from Denver Colorado. She lives with her husband Ryan (yes, they have the same name) and their two little boys. Ryanne loves living in the Little Snake River Valley. Ryanne started at CCHEC in the summer of 2016. She is an administrative assistant for the CCHEC LSRV Ed Center and does a little bit of everything. Ryanne believes she has one of the best jobs in the valley. She gets to work with all kinds of people. She also feels like she is helping her community with the different things that they are able to offer.

Shelly Collier

Shelly was born in raised in Rawlins, Wyoming and never plans on leaving the amazing state of Wyoming. Her family has always enjoyed everything that the Wyoming outdoors has to offer. Shelly has had the privilege of working for Carbon County Higher Education Center for over 15 years (since 2004). She believes the community is fortunate to have a BOCHES (Board of Cooperative Higher Education Services). CCHEC is constantly evolving and changing to meet the needs of our communities in both Rawlins and Baggs. Shelly is proud to be a part of the learning opportunities and services that CCHEC provides.
