Choice Magazine Listening is a nonprofit organization that provides audio recordings of memorable articles, stories, interviews, essays and poems from outstanding current magazines, completely free of charge, to blind, visually impaired, physically disabled or dyslexic adults. Based in Port Washington, NY, CML has proudly served the blind and print-disabled community since 1962!... Choice Magazine Listening is committed to keeping its unique service absolutely free. Both the recordings and the special player are provided at no cost to eligible people. Listeners who use a computer can download CML onto a thumb drive or a purchased talking-book cartridge. As a bonus, the downloaded version is available earlier than the mailed version, and back issues may be downloaded as well... Each year, Choice Magazine Listening produces 48 hours of recorded magazine selections; each quarterly issue contains 12 hours of listening.
