The city has the only remaining pulpwood stacker located in the Mill Yard Park, site of the Cornell Visitors' Center. Cornell is also a trailhead for the 20-mile Old Abe Trail, for biking, walking, rollerblading and snowmobiling. Brunet Island State Park offers camping and other outdoor recreation. Cornell also has links to Wisconsin's extensive snowmobile trail network. The city is home to several community activities throughout the year: a fair in June, fireworks on July 3rd, and an annual craft and art fair.
