Adilson González Morales is a Communications Strategist for Conservation Law Foundation. In this role, he helps CLF leverage the power of communications to fight for a healthy and thriving New England for all. Adilson is committed to supporting CLF's work through his advocacy efforts for environmental justice. Before joining the CLF team, Adilson worked at Penn State University, designing and implementing senior-level courses on International Mass Communications. Previously, he worked with Her Justice, where he assisted attorneys advocating on behalf of clients seeking relief in the areas of immigration, family law, and domestic violence. Adilson holds a master's degree in Media Studies from Pennsylvania State University and a bachelor's degree with a dual major in Rhetoric/Communication Arts, and Multi-Language from St. Lawrence University.

Prior to joining CLF, Alex was an Equal Justice Works Fellow and Staff Attorney at the Legal Aid Society of Palm Beach County, representing teens aging out of foster care and parents of children with disabilities. She then served as a law clerk to the Honorable Marcia G. Cooke of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Florida and later to the Honorable James E. Graves, Jr. of the U.S. Court of Appeals, Fifth Circuit. Alex earned a B.A., summa cum laude, from Sonoma State University and a J.D. from Harvard Law School. In her spare time, Alex enjoys running long distances (especially on trails), baking, and spending time with her family.

Carol Gregory

Carol Gregory is the Senior Vice President of Communications and Marketing for CLF. In this role Carol develops and oversees external communication and marketing initiatives including media relations, online engagement, and development communications. Carol has more than 20 years of strategic communications, marketing, and broadcast journalism experience. Following a career in television, where she produced and wrote national and syndicated television specials and documentaries, she turned her attention to elevating the message of advocacy organizations. She has held leadership roles at a wide range of nonprofits including Greenpeace, YMCA of Metropolitan Washington, and Amnesty International USA. Carol served on the Board of Directors for the Audubon Naturalist Society from 2009 through 2012, the oldest independent environmental organization in the Metropolitan Washington area that connects conservation activities with environmental education. Carol is a native of North Carolina who relocated to the New England region from Washington, D.C. She enjoys hiking, great culinary experiences, and traveling to film festivals. She is a graduate of Howard University in Washington, D.C.

Chase Whiting

Chase Whiting is a Staff Attorney on the Clean Energy and Climate Change Team. In this role, he engages in strategic litigation and advocacy with the goal to mitigate the causes of climate change and help New England transition to clean energy and transportation. Prior to joining CLF, Chase litigated plaintiff-side matters at the trial and appellate levels and served as a Judicial Law Clerk at the United States District Court for the District of Maryland and the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. Chase was a Law Clerk in the Executive Office of the President during the Barack Obama Administration and a research assistant to Professor Paul D. Butler. Chase worked fulltime during law school, first as an advocate for international human rights and later as Georgetown University's Senior Analyst of Strategic Initiatives. He also taught Earth science at a public middle school on the México-U.S. border. Chase graduated magna cum laude from the University of Vermont and the Georgetown University Law Center. In his free time, Chase volunteers to restore, reconnect, and rewild northern New England and New York ecosystems and habitats. He also spends as much time as possible exploring those wild places.

Chelsea works in the Clean Air and Water Program on litigation to protect our lakes and rivers from blue-green algae and our air from diesel exhaust. Before assuming the role of Staff Attorney, Chelsea was a Legal Fellow at CLF funded by a University of Chicago Law School Postgraduate Public Interest Fellowship. Chelsea received her J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, where she participated in the Abrams Environmental Law Clinic and was a member of the Environmental Law Society. Chelsea holds a B.A. with honors in International Studies from the University of Chicago. Chris has also served as a trainer, conference organizer, and DEI Advisory Council Member for the YMCA of the USA in Chicago, IL. Chris has extensive experience leading non-profit organizations, developing comprehensive DEI strategies, and facilitating a healthy and positive workplace culture. Chris has spearheaded a number of important projects, including developing statewide conferences for emerging multicultural leaders, creating and implementing large-scale coaching and mentoring programs and serving as a U.S. delegate to the YMCA's international Mano a Mano sin Fronteras (Hand-to-Hand without Borders) summit. Before joining CLF, Diane served as the Director of Compensation, Benefits & HRIS at the New England Aquarium. There, Diane developed compensation strategies focused on fair and equitable pay practices, served as project manager for the implementation of a UKG Human Resources Information System, and was committed to provide competitive, comprehensive and affordable benefits for Aquarium employees. As treasurer and vice president of the board of El Hogar Ministries, Inc., a nonprofit serving children born into extreme poverty in Honduras, she managed and streamlined financial operations, implemented human resource systems, and helped build organizational capacity for growth. Prior to that, she spent ten years at Harvard Business Publishing, where she grew their newsletter business from a start-up to a profitable business unit with multiple publications. She grew up in New York State and completed her undergraduate degree in Ohio at The College of Wooster, where she graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in Political Science. She also completed a variety of internships, where she worked on projects centered on rural transportation equity, workforce reentry after a period of incarceration, and nonprofit management in the education sector. Erica holds a J.D. from the University of Maine, as well as a B.A. in Forestry and a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. Prior to law school, Erica owned and operated an equine veterinary practice in the MetroWest Boston Area for 20 years. Following law school, Erica worked as a litigator in a Boston-based firm of trial lawyers and then for Earthjustice. Prior to that, Greg was a partner in a toxic tort litigation firm. He recently served as the Chair of the Natural Resources Section of the Maine State Bar Association and co-authored the Maine Environmental Law Handbook published by Government Institutes. Additionally, he has been a state-appointed member of the Maine Indian Tribal State Commission since 2004. Cunningham received his J.D. from Franklin Pierce Law Center, a Masters in Studies of Environmental Law from Vermont Law School and his undergraduate degree from Colby College.

Greg Polzer is CLF's Grants and Finance Manager. Greg works closely with the finance department by providing financial analysis, offering pre- and post-award support, and doing budgeting. Greg is a founding member of the Providence Gay Flag Football League. The league provides a safe space for the LGBTQA+ community to play competitive flag football in Rhode Island. He is also the Treasurer on their Board of Trustees. Previously, Heather worked as a staff attorney with the National Environmental Law Center, where she litigated against large corporations in violation of the Clean Air Act and Clean Water Act. Heather holds a J.D. from Northeastern, a Master in Environmental Law and Policy from Vermont Law School, and a B.A. from Amherst College. When not at work (or biking to and from work), Heather plays soccer, snowboards, and can be found running amok in the South End with her partner and two sons.

Before joining CLF, Heather directed the recycling program at a Keene State College for six years. The program received national recognition from the EPA for its collaborative work with food waste recovery outreach and education. Beyond her work at Keene State, she is known for designing and implementing a cutting edge recycling assessment system for schools. This program is used nationally by an industry leader here in New England. A native Vermonter, Heather holds a BA in Environmental Psychology from Marlboro College in Vermont and a Masters in Resource Management and Conservation from Antioch University New England in New Hampshire. Heidi Trimarco

Heidi Trimarco is a Staff Attorney working in the Clean Air & Water and Healthy Communities & Environmental Justice programs. Heidi advocates for clean air and water across New Hampshire, including working closely with CLF's Waterkeeper to protect the health of the Great Bay estuary. She also works on initiatives to address childhood lead poisoning and is helping to expand CLF's Environmental Justice program in New Hampshire to address the disparate impact of environmental problems. Before joining CLF, Heidi worked in private practice for over a decade as an environmental attorney and litigator. Her work ranged from the siting and developing of renewable energy projects to groundbreaking PFAS class action lawsuits in federal courts. Heidi holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School and a B.A. cum laude in Government from Dartmouth College. She is admitted to practice in New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, New York and Ohio. He also worked at a small public relations agency on a variety of technology and healthcare accounts.
