Civic Works is a Baltimore-based nonprofit that was founded in 1993. We strengthen communities for people of all ages through education, skills development and community service... Our vision is for a Baltimore area where all residents have access to the educational and employment opportunities they need to support their families, all communities have green spaces and access to healthy food, and all families have homes that are safe, energy-efficient, and affordable... We help old adults in Baltimore City and Baltimore County live safely at the home of their choice through Elder Services home repairs and case management. Our Energy Programs provide free energy installs and links families to energy efficiency upgrades and solar installations that make their homes more comfortable, affordable and energy efficient.
