In 1926, Spencer Penrose, the owner of The Broadmoor, purchased the Cog Railway from Mr. Zalmon Simmons, who first rode to the summit of Pikes Peak on a mule and later built the railway. The Cog is in fine company with Broadmoor Outfitters, Seven Falls, Soaring Adventures, the Wilderness Experiences, and The Broadmoor's sister property, Sea Island, on the beautiful coast of Georgia as a collection of one-of-a-kind experiences...
