Dinwiddie Elementary School (DES) is a Title I school that currently serves 325 students in grades K-5. 50% of the students receive free/reduced meals, 15% receive special education services, and 2% participate in the gifted program... Our goal is to impact every student, every day in a positive manner so that are prepared to be productive citizens. Our students have won VHSL State Championships in such varied activities as Football (2013) and Creative Writing (2018). Dinwiddie High School is a perennial contender in Softball and Baseball with multiple Region and State Tournament appearances. Our Marching band and chorus have received multiple accolades for their performances throughout the state and eastern seaboard.
