Roosevelt Elementary has SmartBoard technlogy in every classroom; access to classroom computers, provides students with computer lab coursework, and wireless Internet capabilities. We offer Before and After School Programs that begin in the Fall and it is important that parents who are interested in enrolling their children in the programs adhere to the deadline dates to ensure that we have the appropriate number of staff to support the programs. In addition, we offer parents Open House Days and Parenting 101 classes to help parents to learn what we do because we see 'parents as partners' in their children's development... Roosevelt Elementary School has won many awards and accomplishments over the years and was named a Illinois Spotlight School. We believe in "The Ram Way" and our mascot is the ram. The RAM is acronym that stands for Raising Achievement and Merit in everything that we do! Our District 148 Mission statement is to "Empower Every Child."
