I was born in Cleveland and grew up in Eastlake around some really great family and friends. In 1999 I walked through the doors at Erieside Church and never left, finding my family in Christ, and later finding my dear late wife Janet. It's been my joy to serve in Awanas and Faith Friends, and it's been an honor to be on the Deacon board and now to serve as an Elder, sharing in our journey of faith.

I grew up in Northeast Ohio in a Biblically faithful church and had a home with parents who did their best to model godliness for their children through active involvement in church life.
I asked the Lord to be my Savior at age 8 while at church. Despite this young profession, I rebelled internally against what I was taught, and pursued whatever would bring me momentary joy-until the Lord humbled me and pulled me back from my rebellion through His Word and His people.
While in the middle of this rebellion, the Lord still showed His grace in my life in many ways. One of the greatest was that He provided a beautiful wife (Nicki) in 2006 who has been a true partner in my life and ministry. We've been blessed with 4 children here on earth (Cameron, Caleb, Emma, & Elijah) and one daughter with the Lord (Madelyn).
After my faith crisis, the Lord began to revive my love for Scripture and grew in me a strong desire to make God's Word known to His people. I enrolled at Liberty University and continued to work ‘in the trenches' among the youth at my home Church throughout my schooling. I received a Masters of Divinity from Liberty University in 2015, and took on the role of Associate Pastor at my home Church in August 2016.

Pastor Jason is originally from Columbus, and is a graduate of both Cedarville University and Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary. He has over 16 years of ministry experience including time as a worship leader, a missions pastor and a church planter, and has pastored churches in Tennessee and Ohio. He is married to Brandy; they have three children, Stella and Ben, as well as a daughter in heaven named Josie. Jason is passionate about preaching the Word of God and making disciples, and is excited about what God has planned for the future of Erieside.
Jeff first started attending Erieside in 1998. It is where he has been married, baptized, served, raised his children, and grown deeply in his love of the Lord. He is married to his wife Molly, and has been blessed with his children Emma, Faith, and Will. He has been actively leading small groups for many years and loves singing praise to the Lord whenever the opportunity presents itself. Having served previously as a trustee for 6 years as well as the Chairman of the Board, Jeff is honored and humbled to be an Elder at Erieside.
John started attending Erieside in September of 1994. He has previously served as a deacon and a trustee. Currently he and his wife, Bev, lead a home group and the Hands & Feet Ministry which assists the homeless in downtown Cleveland and Painesville, with food, clothing, & compassion. They also have three children: Ashley, Jessica, Joshua as well as seven grandkids, several of which also attend Erieside.
My name is Kevin Hammond. I am happily married to Lea Hammond and I have been a member here at Erieside for about twenty five years. I came to know the Lord right around that time and have been actively serving in one form or other since then. I first started off as a Youth leader, served coffee for a period of time, have served as a sound board member for over twenty years, and have recently joined the general board as a Trustee. I was asked last year to sit in and observe with the elder board and am now on this year's ballot for that very position. I am a Willoughby resident and I have worked as an Engineering Technician at a local manufacturing company for the last twenty eight years. I am a stepfather to two wonderful girls and a proud grandfather to five. I am looking forward to serving the Lord at Erieside in the next chapter that He leads me.
Sharon has been coming to Erieside since 1999 and has served in the choir, at the piano, as a Deaconness, and now as a Trustee and the Administrative Assistant. Please contact her if you would like a prayer request or need information about a church event.
Steve has been attending Erieside for 40 years. He has been a small group leader since 1998, served on the Deacon Board for 6 years, and is currently serving as Elder Chairman. Steve has been married to wife, Sandy, for 38 years and together they have three sons: Eric 35, Jeremy 31 and Cory 25. Steve says, "family is everything to me and Erieside has been a big part of my life".
Steve married his wife Sandy in 1978 and is blessed with three adult boys. He has been a church member for more than 40 years and has served on the General Board as a Deacon and current Elder for 35 years. He has led a small group since 1998 and joyously serves the church as needed.
Hi! My name is Traci Foss and I am a God fearing woman who has been saved by grace while walking in faith, living for Jesus. I am the custodian here at Erieside and I feel blessed to be able to serve the Lord in this position. I also am a part-time hairstylist of 36 years. Our family has been at Erieside for 10 years, 9 as members. I have been married to Scott for 28 years and have 4 beautiful kids: Rece, Kenzie, Paige and Liam. We also have a German Shepherd named Odin. I have served as a Deaconess, a chair Deaconess and currently am a Deaconess. I help with VBS and Hands and Feet ministry.
