Anna joined FACCC as a PAC Student Coordinator in September of 2022. She currently serves as the association's Advocacy Manager, using her experience in policy work and lobbying to enact positive change.
As a proud graduate of San Joaquin Delta College, Anna is passionate about advancing community college interests and advocating for the unique needs of their students. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Politics from the University of San Francisco, and she heavily credits her community college background for providing a strong foundation. Anna hopes to give back to the educational institution that transformed her life through her work at FACCC.

Janet Oropeza joined FACCC in 1992 as the executive secretary after moving to the Sacramento area from the Bay Area. She changed some of her job duties as she assumed some bookkeeping duties when FACCC's bookkeeper retired. She also serves as FACCC's meeting planner.
She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area where she worked as a secretary for 18 years. Janet attended Skyline College for two years before embarking on her secretarial career.

Lidia joined FACCC in April 2014 as the Director of Program and Development for the FACCC Education Institute. With significant experience in conference development and fundraising, Lidia's enthusiasm for the work of FACCC and the FACCC Education Institute is unmistakable. "I credit my community college experience for helping me achieve my goals. It's amazing to be in a position to serve not only the talented faculty, but also - by extension - the millions of students who attend these institutions."
Prior to joining FACCC, Lidia served as the Meeting Manager for California Society of Health-System Pharmacists.
Logan Fisher became a valuable member of FACCC in October 2023. Before joining our team, Logan successfully graduated from Los Angeles Pierce College, earning an Associates Degree in Political Science just last year. During his time there, Logan actively participated in AFT 1521's Student Internship Program, championing causes such as adjunct faculty healthcare coverage and improved student housing.
Currently enrolled at Cal State Northridge, Logan is dedicated to obtaining his bachelor's degree in political science. His commitment to supporting community colleges is evident in his advocacy work at FACCC.

Soni joined FACCC in 1996 and serves as the Secretary/Receptionist.
She was born in Vietnam, lived in San Francisco and moved to Sacramento in 1986. She attended Cosumnes River and Sacramento City Colleges prior to transferring to California State University Sacramento.
Soni now resides in Elk Grove with her husband Vinny and her two doggies, Goldie and Nala. In her spare time, she likes to watch movies, try new restaurants and travel.

Wendy Brill-Wynkoop is a professor at College of the Canyons and president of the Faculty Association of the California Community Colleges (FACCC). Inspired by the Girl Scout motto, "Make this world a better place," she leads her students and colleagues by example to expand and improve educational opportunities for all students in the California Community Colleges.
She honed her skills as an adjunct professor teaching art and graphic design at several universities, but she fell in love with community colleges while working at Chaffey College. As a professor at College of the Canyons for the past 21 years, she has worked to affect change for students and the next generation.
Wendy served on the local Academic Senate, chaired vital committees, including Noncredit Committee and Academic Staffing Committee, was president of her local union, and represented faculty on numerous college-wide committees. She is a graduate of the Community College Association of California Leaders Academy and the National Education Association Emerging Leaders Academy.
In her spare time, Wendy loves camping, coffee, and spending time with her family.
