6 PM Program discussion: "Bringing Sustainability Home" presented by Kirsten Nickels, Ph.D., Certified Angus Beef Sustainability & Animal Care Scientist. Kirsten is serving a key role in understanding the science and communicating with beef producers up and down the CAB supply chain. Kirsten will be joined by Shannon Wharton, Wharton 3C Cattle Co., and longtime GAR customer. Shannon is a member of the U.S. Roundtable for Sustainable Beef. Kirsten and Shannon will lead an interactive conversation, discussing the importance of sustainability across all beef production sectors.
