We continue to evolve through the years and have been serving the communities of Downtown Houston, Texas and Westchase District... A year before falling in defense of the Alamo, Colonel William Barrett Travis writes the General Conference of the Methodist Church. Colonel William Barrett Travis requested Methodist pastors for the new Republic being born in Texas. The Methodist Church responded by assigning three missionaries to this new area.
