Angie Stringer has been president & CEO of Girls Inc. of Sarasota County since August 2015. Prior to joining Girls Inc., she was director of major gifts at Children First.
Ms. Stringer has more than 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, including direct program supervision, program development, strategic planning, staff management, fiscal planning, fundraising, and marketing. She previously worked for Girls Inc. as the director of communication and agency resources, from 2004-2007.
She holds an associate's degree in Early Childhood Education, and a bachelor's degree in Sociology. She has served as president of the Junior League of Sarasota, and has been a member of the volunteer organization since 2007.
