Alyssa Fishel

Alyssa joined Greenleaf Family Center in March of 2024. Prior to joining the agency, she worked and gained experience in leadership, prevention, as well as school and community mental health services. Alyssa earned a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice with minors in Psychology and Forensic Studies in addition to a Master's in Business Administration. In 2022 she obtained her Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist (OCPS) certification but is looking to pursue her Ohio Certified Prevention Consultant (OCPC) certification.

April Brewer

April Brewer received her BASW degree from the University of Akron and has been a Licensed Social Worker since 1988. She has been employed by Greenleaf Family Center (formerly Family Services of Summit County) since 1990. The majority of those years were spent in a variety of roles with the Teenage Parent Program, providing community-based services to pregnant and parenting adolescents. April received her Ohio Certified Prevention Specialist certification in 2018 and is currently the Director of Prevention and Community Services for Greenleaf, supervising several prevention and community-based programs.

Audrey Houseman

Audrey serves as Vice President, Clients and Campaigns for TRIAD, a full-service marketing firm in Cuyahoga Falls. Audrey leverages her expertise in strategic planning, communications, and media to help her clients creatively and thoughtfully deliver their messages to target audiences. She specializes in strategy, planning, and the execution of political campaigns for candidates and ballot initiatives. Prior to joining TRIAD, Audrey spent nearly a decade in the non-profit sector.

Caleb Kunkel

Caleb Kunkel has been with Greenleaf Family Center since February 2015. Prior to becoming the Director of Behavioral Health, Caleb worked for the agency as Internship Coordinator, Treatment Team Supervisor, Training Coordinator, and Outpatient Behavioral Health Counselor. Before joining Greenleaf, Caleb also worked in the jail/corrections field. Caleb is a Licensed Supervising Clinical Counselor and earned his M. Ed in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University. He has also enjoyed the opportunity to teach as Adjunct Professor at KSU since 2018.

Daniel Glass

Dan Glass is an attorney with Thompson Hine LLP and focuses his practice on mergers and acquisitions, commercial contracts, and general corporate matters. Dan is a lifelong Akron resident, holds a JD from the University of Akron School of Law, and has spent his entire professional career working in Northeast Ohio. Dan and his wife, Chelsea, live in Highland Square with their three dogs and frequent the Summit Metro Parks and Cuyahoga Valley National Park both for fitness and to enjoy the quiet moments in nature.

Heather Finklestein

Heather Finklestein has been with Greenleaf Family Center since September 2021. Prior to becoming Program Manager of the Family Success Network, she worked as an outpatient Behavioral Health Therapist for the agency. Heather has extensive experience working with children, adolescents and families. Heather is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor (LPCC-S) and earned her Master of Education degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Kent State University in 2019.

Jill Oldham - CEO

Jill is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of nonprofit experience in social services and public health. Jill's professional journey reflects a deep commitment to community well-being and collaborative leadership. Prior to assuming the CEO role at Greenleaf in January 2024, Jill held leadership roles with Leadership Akron, the Akron-Canton Regional Foodbank, and Barberton Health District. A graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Family Studies, Jill went on to earn a Master of Public Health degree with the Consortium of Eastern Ohio Master of Public Health program. She is a graduate of Leadership Akron's Community Leadership Institute and proud member of Signature Class 35, as well as Summit County Child & Family Leadership Exchange, Class XVII.

Joan Davidson

Joan is a lifelong Akronite and is dedicated to her community through public service. She joined Greenleaf in September 2022, and currently oversees family serving programs including: KISSS/ARMI, Family Success Network and Moms and Babies First. Prior to joining Greenleaf, she worked as Community Relations Manager at Akron Metropolitan Housing Authority managing their non-profit subsidiary Building for Tomorrow. Joan also served as Executive Director at Interfaith Caregivers and as Academic and Employment Administrator at Oriana House, Inc. for 17 years. Joan maintained her Adult Education teaching license for 12 years with a Career Development endorsement, was certified to deliver evidence-based cognitive behavioral therapy groups, and maintains a lifetime certification in Bridges out of Poverty. She received her bachelor's degree from Kent State University and master's degree from the University of Akron.

Laura Brelin - President

Laura brings an expertise of over 15 years of fundraising experience. She is currently employed at Akron Children's Hospital Foundation as a Major Gift Officer. Prior to this position, she was employed at United Way of Summit County managing a portfolio of businesses for workplace campaigns. Over her career, Laura has been actively involved in the community giving back through volunteerism, personal giving and leadership through board and committee service to numerous organizations such as the Kiwanis Club of Akron and Akron Roundtable, Habitat for Humanity, American Red Cross, Heart to Heart, WITAN, and Greenleaf Family Services. She is working toward her MBA and resides in Akron.

Leslie Redd

Leslie Redd joined Greenleaf Family Center on October 31, 2018. Prior to that she spent 21 years at Baby 1st Network, a statewide non-profit agency. She held various positions throughout her career and became the Executive Director in 2009, a position she held until the agency moved to Toledo in June of 2018. Leslie brings with her experience in fundraising, grant writing and reporting, event planning and marketing. She is passionate about the mission of Greenleaf and the people they serve through their various programs and services.

Mark Valentine - Treasurer

Mark is the CEO of Val-Mark Consulting which he founded in 2017. Val-Mark provides healthcare M&A and revenue cycle advisory services primarily to private equity clients. For the 30 years prior to Val-Mark, he held CFO and COO roles at healthcare service companies including Cole Vision, Pearle Vision, DentalCare Partners, Hospitalists Management Group, Emergency Medicine Physicians, MESA Emergency Medicine and Aris Radiology. Mark started his career as a CPA with PWC. Mark is a graduate of Leadership Akron NEXT Class #8. He is an investor in North Coast Ventures Funds III and IV, where he serves on the investment steering and portfolio support committees and is a member of the Angel Capital Association. He is an entrepreneur mentor in the Burton D. Morgan Mentoring Program at Jumpstart. Mark is a graduate of Loyola University of Chicago.

Mindy Ingram

Mindy Ingram earned her M. Ed in Community Counseling from the University of Akron and is a Licensed Supervising Clinical Counselor. She started at Greenleaf Family Center in 2008 as an intern and was employed immediately after graduating as an Outpatient Behavioral Health Counselor. Mindy continues to provide therapy to children and adults, is the Internship Coordinator, and Supervises a fantastic team of clinicians who provide a variety of counseling services to the community. Prior to becoming a licensed counselor, Mindy worked with kids and adults with developmental, physical, and cognitive disabilities as a camp counselor, group home coordinator, and education assistant.

Stacy joined Greenleaf in January of 2009. Prior to becoming Director of Operational Support in 2022, she held a number of positions throughout her years at the agency, including Finance Manager, Financial Services for Families, Accounts Coordinator and Office Administration.

Traci Williams-Eaton

Traci has always had a passion for helping others, which is what led her to join Greenleaf Family Center in 2021. Prior to becoming Program Manager of Moms and Baby First, she worked as a Case Manager for the Automotive Repair Maintenance Initiative (ARMI) here at the agency. Traci has 30-years of experience in the healthcare industry enhancing the lives of individuals and their families in the community. Her goal is to continue that mission and improve the well being of others. It was time for Traci to put her human social service associate degree to effective use and continue to help others in the community in which we live.
