Christy joined the staff of Good Shepherd in April of 2021. She has a warm and vibrant faith and a deep love of children. Christy has spent many years working with children of all ages with play-based education as well as engaging their families and communities. Eric joined the staff of Good Shepherd in September of 2015. Eric has a personal and vibrant faith, with many years of worshiping and serving in the Christian Reformed Church. He leads our choral program and our contemporary worship team ministry. Besides being a gifted vocalist and director, Eric as a background in music education, musical theater, and visual arts. He is married to Lisa and they have two children.
Fred has been a pastor since 1979 when he was ordained by Fayetteville Presbytery in Rockingham, NC at the Cameronian Church. He has since served congregations in Shelby, Richmond, Lumberton, Huntersville and Charlotte. He is married to Georgia Smith Rose. They have three great children and four precious grandchildren. Fred's focus as a Transitional Pastor is on preaching and worship leadership, pastoral care, and visitation and encouraging leaders to focus on God's call on the church.

Joni joined the staff of Good Shepherd in June of 2015. Her gentle and welcoming spirit is often the first face or voice a caller or visitor experiences. In addition to wonderful gifts of hospitality and welcome, she handles all the volunteer lists and contacts, bulletin and print materials, scheduling of space, cleaning and supplies, and more.
Lisa joined the staff of Good Shepherd in September of 2018. She is from Connecticut but has made Weddington her home with husband, Chris, and three adult children. She has served in similar roles at several sister churches in the area. She enjoys reading, exercising, and spending time at home with her Shih Tzu, family, and friends.

Matthew 25:14-30 - Finance elder, Mark Katibah, walks the congregation through highlights of the past year and summarizes where the elders, staff, and congregation discern that God is leading us in 2020.
Melissa joined the staff of Good Shepherd in July of 2005. She is also a life-long member of Good Shepherd (though she was three at the time). Melissa has B.A. and M.Ed. degrees from UNCC in Child and Family studies and education and taught public school pre-K for 6 years before coming on staff. She is married to Russ and they have two daughters and a sweet dog named Bentley.
