The House of the Lord & Church on the Mount was founded in Augusta, Georgia in 1929. From humble beginnings, we have grown into a network of churches and fellowships that may be found in cities throughout the United States. We cherish common Christian beliefs such as the Sovereignty of God and salvation through Jesus Christ. We also believe that the Acts 2 Pentecostal experience of the Apostles should be normative in a believer's life... We minister to the communities we serve through traditional means - such as preaching, prayer, and worship services - as well as through non-traditional avenues, such as community activism, health emphasis, social action, and political awareness...
