Heather has been a member of St. Alphonsus since she was a young child. She joined IHM in August 2023 as our Business Administrator, bringing many years of Business Management experience. She has been a cantor of music at St. Alphonsus for many years and absolutely loves music! Heather and her husband Larry enjoy spending time with their children and six grandchildren. She also enjoys laughing, learning, traveling, listening to all types of music genres and styles, and spending time with family, church family and friends.

Jane has been a member of IHM since 1998. She grew up down the street at St Paul the Apostle and then went on to Catholic Central where she met her future husband in freshman biology class. After graduating MSU with a forestry degree, Jane traveled awhile before marrying Bob. She worked as an urban forester while Bob attended Dental school. Their three children came next (not all at once!), and suddenly Jane's life was filled with schedules for school, sports and a few volunteer opportunities. This gave Jane a bit of insight into how volunteers are an integral part of parish life and she strives to improve the experience for both volunteers and the church community. As technology advances she strives to make communication, social media and information accessible to all.
When it comes to a warm welcome, nothing matches the smiling face of Janet Potoczny, our Parish Secretary. Known for her affectionate personality, Janet enjoys baking in her spare time and spending time with her two children and husband, John. She is originally from a small community in North Carolina where her family remains. Janet and her family relocated to Michigan in 1993 where she and her family established themselves in the Immaculate Heart of Mary community.

Sr. Anna is a member of The Congregation of the Sisters of St. Paul of Chartres. She lovingly visits our homebound and nursing home residents and brings them the Eucharist. Please contact our pastoral associate, Stefanie Iwan for more information, 241-4477 or pa@ihmparish.com
Stacie has been a member of IHM since 2017. She grew up in North Dakota, so she's never cold! Stacie graduated from the University of North Dakota with a B.A. in Psychology and Anthropology and a B.S. in Forensic Science. After completing her Master's Degree in Forensic Science and a Master's in National Security and Public Safety, she worked as a Federal Agent. An injury led her to her super supportive husband, Colin. They have three (really cool) children, who attend IHM school. She is blessed for the opportunity to answer her baptismal call to serve our youth in ministry and feels that her background gives a unique perspective to connect with our youth. Stacie has a heart for Jesus, is always happy to help, and loves meeting new people.
Stefanie, and her family, have been members of IHM since 2010 with the newest addition to the family being welcomed in the church in 2016. She has over 18 years of experience as a Director of Youth Ministry 8 of them being here at IHM. In the summer of 2020 she switched into the role of Faith Formation coordinator and Pastoral Associate. She will continue to follow her calling to be a part of the faith journey in the lives of Catholics and those interested in the Catholic faith as long as the Lord wills it. She is creative and innovative in ways of catechizing that will inspire and transform hearts through the guidance of the Holy Trinity. She has a special gift of ruining great jokes but has one or two she can tell really well. Stefanie was born and raised in the Grand Rapids area and is a graduate of Aquinas College. Stefanie enjoys laughing, sewing, reading, camping and spending time with family and friends.
