This is first known photo (circa 1904) of a person with the Krishfield name. Mary Krishfield is seated on the left and the woman on the right is probably her cousin Olga Lakschewitz... The name Mary Krishfield was Americanized from the Latvian language "Marija Krischlauk" upon her imigration in 1903... This is the oldest known photo of the whole Krishfield family. (circa 1914). Mary Krishfield (standing) imigrated in 1903. Mary was sponsored by her uncle George Lakschewitz who was her mother's brother.
