Margie Joyce

  • Special Agent - in - Charge
As special agent-in-charge, Margie is responsible for providing premier protective services for learning and performance standards. She uncompromisingly enforces laws and regulations in designing training programs that provide strategic solutions for such diverse clients as NGOs, consulting firms, small businesses, U.S. Agency for International Development, and Department of State. For over 15 years, Margie has worked collaboratively with subject matter experts to confront and amend challenging problems in education, global health, and human rights, including gender-based violence. Margie has a Masters' Degree in Instructional Technology: Design and Development from George Mason University. She has worked in a number of countries, including Taiwan, Uganda, Jordan, India, Kenya, Jamaica, Indonesia, Ghana, and the Democratic Republic of the Congo. She lives in Washington DC and enjoys spending time with her son, Alex, and dog, Oscar.

Michael Folch

Visual aids enhance the learning process but require thought, creativity, knowledge of the subject matter, and psychology of learning. Mike has them all, and his professional design is beyond exciting and effective-it is extraordinary. Mike detects, investigates, and corrects deficiencies in curriculum design to ensure that only the highest quality and most perceptible visual aids reach the learners. Mike has a degree in graphic design from Kingston University in London. Born in Puerto Rico and raised in NY, he is fluent in Spanish and English. Mike has a love of outdoors and an appreciation for traveling and exploring different environments and cultures.

Sandra Rose

Job Titles:
  • Learning Compliance Investigator
Introduced to the need for investigating effective learning strategies while working for an international training organization in Cairo, Egypt. Since then, Sandy has spent 16 years ensuring compliance of learner-focused training in topics ranging from explosive incident countermeasures for bomb technicians to rural border operations and from leadership in the classroom to community engagement and human rights. Sandy holds degrees from Auburn University and George Washington University. She served in the Foreign Service and was stationed in the Philippines, Belgium, and India. Her passions in learning and life are honoring cultural differences and embracing different learning styles, recognizing that everyone has something unique to offer if the right strategies are used.
