I grew up in Lynden and attended Ebenezer Christian School and Lynden Christian High School. After high school, I attended Trinity Christian College near Chicago, Illinois and graduated with a degree in Finance and Economics. I moved back home and married Lance Honcoop in 2004. Together we have three children, Colby, Brielle, and Corson. I worked for PeaceHealth in various finance roles for 17 years. I completed my Master of Business Administration Healthcare Management in 2021. God called me to make a career change, and I accepted the position of Director of Finance and Operations at Lynden Christian School. Our family attends NCCTK and we are involved in various ministries at church. As a family, we enjoy traveling, boating, and Jeeping.

Romans 12:2 I have served as principal of Lynden Christian Middle School since 2006. I hold a Master's Degree in Educational Administration from Western Washington and completed my undergraduate training in Education at Calvin University. I began my teaching career in 1996 at Monroe Christian School in the 7th and 8th grades. After teaching for five years, I stepped out in faith and accepted a principal position at Everett Christian while completing my graduate degree. In 2006, my family and I moved to Lynden when I accepted the middle school principal position at Lynden Christian. I grew up in Olympia, WA., and met my wife, Jen, my freshman year at Calvin University. She has been my deepest friend, confidant, and cherished partner through life's adversities and joys. We were married in 1995 and have three boys and wonderful daughter-in-law. Together we enjoy taking walks, paddle-boarding and kayaking, hiking, camping, playing games, and attending family get-togethers. We attend Third Christian Reformed Church and especially value our church and school families. One of the greatest joys in our lives is seeing our boys grow up within a community of believers. Christian education is an invaluable piece of the home, church, and school partnership. We have been blessed as a family to partner with Christian schools and our church family to help raise our sons.

Carol Morgan has taught Spanish (among other side subjects) at LCHS since 1995 after graduating from Calvin (College) University. She is married to Tony Morgan and has 3 children that are alumni from LC. They attend Sonlight CRC in Lynden. Carol loves teaching beginning Spanish because it is a joy to see students freshly discover a new gift that God has given them and develop empathy for second language learners in the community. She also love LCHS for it's amazing staff, high-quality Christian education, and a student body full of the best students ever!

My name is Frieda Luce and I grew up in Abbotsford, British Columbia. I attended Trinity Western University and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in education, psychology and geography in 1990. The following year I received my teaching certification from Simon Fraser University. Following graduation, I taught for seven years in the Burnaby School District. Since then, I was able to be at home raising our family and for the past two years I have been substitute teaching in the middle school and the elementary school.

My name is Gina, I love God, I love my family, my FCC church family, and I love to drive. God continues to use me and driving for LC is one of the ways I was lead 4 years ago. Driving has allowed opportunities for me to bond with my 4 kids doing pre trips, enjoying the breathtaking sunrises out in the county and partaking in their joy on outings for sports and field trips. Who knew that driving would open doors for Christ to work? I guess He knew, go figure. My "bus kids" and the teachers, coaches and parents have prayed, given prayer requests, looked at Gods creation and remembered His promises to us, they've praised and encouraged one another, strategized, and worked on some cute hairstyles before the big game, all during their bus ride. It warms my heart to see my older "bus kids" driving in their own cars. I hope they know they're missed and remember… Psalms 28:7-8 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and He helps me. My heart leaps for joy, and with my song I praise Him. The LORD is the strength of His people, a fortress of salvation for His anointed one.
