Dan Caulkins has been married for 44 years to his wife, Jo. He has more than two decades of military experience, retiring as a US Army Major. Caulkins worked for Decatur manufacturing giant ADM and several local companies, as well as running his own businesses focused on providing long-term care and assisted living for disabled adults.
Dan is a graduate of Decatur public schools and Eastern Illinois University. He previously served on the Eastern Illinois University Board of Trustees and was a member of the Decatur City Council from 2005-2009.

David Koehler was born and raised in South Dakota. He received his Bachelor of Arts degree from Yankton College, in Yankton, South Dakota in 1971. Three years later, he received a Masters of Divinity from United Theological Seminary in Dayton, Ohio. From 1972 to 1978, was a staff member of the National Farm Worker Ministry (NFWM), working on behalf of migrant farm workers. Upon moving to Peoria in 1978, became a community organizer, and later, the program manager for Peoria Friendship House.

Dennis Tipsword (R-Metamora) was born and raised in Woodford County, IL where he attended Metamora High School. Representative Tipsword is a citizen legislator with nearly a 30 year public service career in law enforcement, serving for 16 years with the Woodford County Sheriff's Office and the past eight years as its Chief Deputy.
As a former small business owner in the construction and parking lot maintenance industry for 17 years and as a seasonal restaurant owner with his wife Betsy for more than five years, Representative Tipsword understands first-hand the challenges Illinois small business owners face every day.
Attending Western Illinois University where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Law Enforcement Administration, Representative Tipsword also graduated from the University of Illinois Police Training Institute and Northwestern University's School of Police Staff and Command.
Representative Tipsword is a 12 year member of the Woodford County Republican Central Committee, a 15 year volunteer youth sports coach and a longstanding member of the Sons of the American Legion, Spring Bay Post where he volunteers to strengthen the four pillars of the American Legion by placing special emphasis on preserving American traditions and values, improving the quality of life for our nations children, caring for veterans and their families, and teaching the fundamentals of good citizenship.
Dennis and Betsy, his wife of almost 30 years reside in Metamora, IL along with their growing family of three children and three grandchildren.

Sally Turner is the State Senator for the 44th Senate District of Illinois. She has been serving in the Senate since 2021.
Sally is a lifelong resident of Illinois and a graduate of the University of Illinois, where she earned a degree in legal studies. She went on to become a juvenile probation officer before serving six years as a paralegal in the Office of the Logan County State's Attorney. Her public service career began in 1994, when she was elected as Logan County Clerk and Recorder followed by five more consecutive re-elections.
During her time in office, Sally was an active member of the Illinois County Officials Association and the Illinois Association of County Clerks and Recorders. She served the Illinois Association of County Clerks and Recorders as a member of numerous committees and was elected their president in 2015.
While serving as Logan County Clerk, Sally returned to college part-time and earned a master's degree from Lincoln Christian University in Organizational Leadership. There, she also taught Citizens and Government classes for 13 years.
In 2018, Sally chose not to seek re-election, so she could provide support and assistance for her aging parents. During the last two years, Sally opened her own consulting business that assisted local government entities with budgets, levies, and the Property Tax Limitation Law.
Sally Turner resides in Beason in Logan County with her husband John. She has one son and one daughter.

Durbin also serves as the Assistant Majority Leader, the second highest ranking position in the Senate. Also known as the Majority Whip, Senator Durbin has been elected to this leadership post by his Democratic colleagues every two years since 2006. In 2004, he was elected as Minority Whip. Durbin is only the fifth Illinois Senator in history to serve as a Senate leader.
Elected to the U.S. Senate on November 5, 1996, and re-elected in 2002 and 2008, Durbin fills the seat left vacant by the retirement of his long-time friend and mentor, U.S. Senator Paul Simon.
Durbin sits on the Senate Judiciary, Appropriations, Foreign Relations and Rules Committees. He is the Chairman of the Judiciary Committee's Subcommittee on the Constitution, Civil Rights and Human Rights and the Appropriations Committee's Defense subcommittee.
Senator Durbin makes approximately 50 round trips a year between Washington and Illinois. He is married to Loretta Schaefer Durbin. Their family consists of three children--Christine (deceased), Paul and Jennifer--as well as three grandchildren, Alex, Ona and Floyd. They reside in Springfield.
Sharon Chung is serving her first term as State Representative for the new 91st House District. Representative Chung has lived within the 91st for more than a decade, where her daughters attend District 87 schools. Following inauguration on January 11th, 2023 - Rep. Chung became the first Korean-American to serve in the Illinois General Assembly.
Representative Chung is a former McLean County Board member - having served on the Land Use and Development, Health, and Justice Committees. She was the first ever Asian-American to be elected in McLean County.
Sharon is a professional violist and violinist by trade. She also teaches music lessons and has mentored some of the brightest musicians in Central Illinois. A fan of horror movies and live music, Representative Chung is a huge supporter of the local art scene.
