MONTECITO FIRE

The Montecito Fire Protection District is an independent district that provides fire, rescue and emergency services to the Montecito community. The District is approximately 22.2 square miles in size, ranging from the coastline to the beautiful Santa Ynez mountain range that reaches an elevation of more than 2,700 feet. We serve a community of approximately 9,000 residents... In preparation for wildfire, the Montecito Fire Department works with residents to improve community defensible space.
