Michigan Public Transit Association (MPTA) is a non-profit organization that has been serving the state 1977. With a membership that ranges from the largest urban public transit system providers to smaller rural demand-response systems, MPTA is dedicated to improving public transportation throughout Michigan. The association's offices are located in East Lansing, where they work closely with Michigan's Executive and Legislative branches and the Michigan Department of Transportation to advocate for better transportation options for all.
