MSSC provides opportunities for community service through Project Access, public health initiatives and other community care programs... The Medical Society of Sedgwick County is a membership organization representing the physicians of Sedgwick County on issues related to the private practice of medicine. Founded in 1903, MSSC has about 1,000 physician members - more than 90 percent of practicing physicians in Sedgwick County. Counting residents, medical students and retired physicians, MSSC membership exceeds 1,800.
