NEPPA

NEPPA is the regional trade association representing the interests of 78 not-for-profit state and local community-owned electric utilities that collectively provide electricity to approximately 2 million New Englanders... The Northeast Public Power Association is a private, non-profit trade association that is incorporated as a 501 c(6). NEPPA was founded in 1965 to represent and serve consumer-owned utilities of New England. As a regional organization, it uses the combined strength of its diverse members to provide low-cost services and to advocate public policies and federal legislation, which are beneficial to its members' interests... NEPPA's mission is to develop and unite public utility professionals by advancing their knowledge, capabilities, and voice in the industry and workplace. To fulfill that mission, the NEPPA Board of Directors, Committees and Staff invested a great deal of time and energy over the past year in revising our strategic plan.
