Dave Heikkinen is an Associate Professor of Exercise and Sports Science at Fitchburg State University in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Mary-Clare joins the NSCA after more than twenty years of progressive responsibility and leadership experience in the academic and non-profit sports industries, including two years as a professional athletic trainer and nearly eighteen years of high-level marketing, sales and business development experience with the United States Olympic Committee. Her experience includes management of sponsorship and marketing programs in connection with two Division I collegiate athletic programs, two National Governing Bodies of sport, nine United States Olympic and Paralympic Teams and two U.S.-based Olympic Games. Mary-Clare holds a BS in sport science and athletic training from Indiana University and an MEd in sports administration from the University of Texas at Austin.

Scott Caulfield oversees, develops, and manages the individual and group strength and conditioning programs for over 600 student-athletes participating in Norwich University's 22 Division III varsity athletic programs. As a native Vermonter and US Navy Veteran, he has honed his expertise through "under the bar" lifting and coaching throughout his various roles, including his tenure at the NSCA world headquarters in Colorado Springs from 2011-2019. Before joining the NSCA, Coach Caulfield was an assistant strength & conditioning coach at Dartmouth College from 2008-'11, working with football, men's & women's swimming, and men's rugby teams. Notably, from 2006-08, he was the head strength and conditioning coach and director of camps for the back-to-back American Basketball Association champions, Vermont Frost Heaves. Virginia is responsible for the overall logistics of NSCA's conferences, symposia and regional events. This includes overseeing all educational seminars and annual programs. Virginia and staff design and deliver more than a dozen conferences and symposia for NSCA members, certified professionals, and supporters each year. Virginia brought more than 20 years of conference, event and hospitality experience to the NSCA. In addition to participating as a guest panelist for several specialty conferences, webcasts and training events, Virginia's experience includes working for the American Numismatic Association and the Broadmoor resort.
