OASIS

Oasis was founded in 1997 by two women who recognized a need in Paterson: Women with children were excluded from many soup kitchens for safety reasons... Oasis provides food, clothing, and counseling to help women and children meet their basic needs. We provide educational classes for women and academic after-school programs for children to help them thrive... Oasis provides women with free childcare while they are in classes, so motherhood doesn't prevent women from moving forward.
