Alexander Campbell

Job Titles:

Alexander trained at the School of Fine Arts, Auckland University, New Zealand, MFA Hons., and the Drama Action Centre, Sydney, Australia. He has a broad range of experience as a director in the areas of documentary and dramatic filmmaking, mix media performance art, and experimental film. Alexander has also worked for many years as a professional actor, training and working both in Australasia and Europe. He was the director of the visual art video production company, Constructur/list [production], NZ. 1990-94, producing media-artist work and producing and directing documentaries on the visual arts. He established the actors' training organization, Act_World_Wide, in Paris, 2000-2005. He lectured at the School of Visual and Performing Arts at Charles Sturt University, NSW, Australia, teaching Directing for Film and TV, Screen Acting and Devising Theatre, 2008. Since 2009 Alexander has been a producer and director with PaXifica Moving Image Production.

Andy Day

Andy is a Music & Post production veteran, working in the professional Music & Post production industry for over 25 years, with clients including: 20th Century Fox, Warner Brothers, Disney, Discovery, National Geographic, BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Universal Records & MTV. With various post production skills including Audio mixing, Editing, Grading and Motion Graphics, Andy has a rare multi disciplined approach to post production. He is now Creative Director of his own production company Handy Productions Ltd, based in Auckland New Zealand. Also Andy is one of a few Apple Certified Master trainers for Final Cut Studio in the world and regularly travels to the US, Australia & Europe to train Apple users. Andy is also an Ambassador for Adobe video products and the only certified Dolby Consultant in New Zealand & Australia.

Sally Hollis-McLeod

Sally is an academic in the area of design, and a designer with experience in visual communications and theatre. She has lectured at a number of university and polytechnic design schools and is an assessor at a number of others. Her academic qualifications are Bachelor of Fine Arts (Design) from the University of Auckland; and Master of Design with First Class Honours from Massey University, Wellington. Hollis-McLeod began her design career working at TVNZ on direct-to-air TV graphics. Her background includes graphic design, illustration, art-direction, magazine and book design. She also has experience in the performing arts: in theatre publicity, stage and costume design, and directing. She received New Zealand's Queen Elizabeth II Scholarship to visit Japan to look at traditional and avant garde theatre and performance. Her involvement in Paxifica is assisting in Art Direction, graphic design and visual communications such as business material, website and promotions.
