Hello New Friends: Welcome to First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ). We are a downtown congregation in Sheridan, Wyoming. Three blocks east of Main Street. Three blocks east of the Sheridan County Court House. Located behind the Fire Station and across the street form Holy Name School. We have been blessed to share over 100 years of friendship with our neighbors, Holy Name Catholic Church. We invite you to come visit us at Sunday worship or at one of our service ministries. We now have one worship service beginning at 9 am. Our worship is traditional mainstream Protestant. hymns from the hymnbook. Scripture readings. Sermon. Prayers. Holy Communion every Sunday. Followed by friendship time in the Fellowship Hall. Our three primary ministries include: the Thrift Store (now located in the basement of the Church building), Lunch Together/Soup Kitchen, and Heritage Towers (a 75 unit HUD facility for low income seniors).
