Andrew Moore

Andrew Moore graduated with a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in international relations from Western New England University in Springfield, Massachusetts. Andrew has always found politics fascinating. During his time in college, his focus was researching the American election system. He also has some memorable experience as the former membership director for the Libertarian Party of Massachusetts and as a former lead researcher and current podcast host at Voting Smarter. When Andrew isn't focusing on politics, he's either working as the treasurer for his homeowners' association or finding new places to dance.

Beth Aborn

Beth has been an integral part of the SEA organization since 1990. She has leveraged her 30 years of legal experience to foster relationships with key players at all state agencies and serves as the point of contact for our legal department. Beth helps all members, assisting them with a wide range of concerns including workers' compensation, grievances, and retirement issues. She enjoys family time, antiquing, and tending to her flower gardens.

Bob Blaisdell

Prior to joining the State Employees' Association in the fall of 2022, Bob was a professional contract lobbyist for over 2 decades. He was instrumental in building one of the most influential, successful and respected lobbying firms in Concord, NH. Bob's strengths include lobbying the legislative, executive, and regulatory branches of government, testifying before legislative committees and subcommittees, drafting legislation and agency rules, issue / legislative research, and association management. Bob has been lobbying professionally since 1998, however NH politics has been a part of his life since he was born on election day in 1974. His family has been involved in NH politics for over 6 decades. Bob's grandfather, the late Senate President Clesson "Junie" Blaisdell, served in the NH Senate for 30 years. Bob has a BA in Communications from the University of New Hampshire. He lives in Manchester, NH with his three children Emma, James, and Caroline.

Christine McManus

Christine joins us from the corporate world with over 25+ years of Marketing, Communications, and Public Relations knowledge. Her experience spans industries such as media, software, energy, healthcare, and pharmacy. She holds a BA in Marketing from Rivier University and finds that communications and creativity are what drive her. As the Communications Manager for the SEA, she is responsible for the organization's brand, public presence, media relations, and internal and external communications. She loves travel photography and has visited more than 23 countries with her husband, but her heart belongs to the USVI's.

Cullen Tiernan

Cullen Tiernan served in the Marine Corps for nine years as a combat correspondent while deployed in Iraq and across the continent of Africa. He then graduated from the University of Virginia where he majored in English Literature. Shortly after graduating, he moved to California to work for the communications department of Lockheed Martin, Space Systems Company, focusing on HR and executive communications. While in California, he became interested in politics and left Lockheed to support Bernie Sanders' 2016 campaign, eventually becoming a delegate to the DNC in Philadelphia. At that point he get involved with local politics, running for Fremont City Council, and becoming a Fremont Human Relations Commissioner and Chair of the Veterans Caucus of the California Democratic Party. He was then hired by Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard's presidential campaign, serving as the campaign spokesperson which brought him to New Hampshire.

David Honeman

Dave recently joined the SEA in 2022 as an Internal Organizer after retiring from the NHDOC after 21 years of service. Prior to his career at the NHDOC, Dave served in the Marines for eight years and the National Guard for six years. As a member of the SEA, he served as the chapter president of 255 for over six years and was an engaged member serving on numerous union committees and as a member of the SEA Board of Directors. In his spare time, he enjoys being a husband and father of two, both a son and a daughter, and loves their yearly family trips to Disney World!

Gary Snyder - Chief Legal Officer

Gary Snyder is the SEA's General Counsel and oversees the legal department. Gary's duties include member and Association representation in unfair labor practices, court appeals, arbitration hearings, as well as grievances and appeals. He's further responsible for advising the Association on any and all legal matters. Gary is a graduate of the UNH School of Law and interned with the SEA as a law student prior to coming on full time in 2014. Gary is from Concord and when he is not working he enjoys spending time with his wife and his two dogs. He likes to travel, loves movies and music, and is a Steelers fan living in enemy Patriot territory!

Justin started working for the SEA officially in February 2020 as an Internal Organizer and was promoted to Organizing Manager in 2021 based on a career of leadership training. Before joining the SEA, he served as a Marine for nine years and later became a member/leader at the Department of Corrections where he worked for 21 years and served as a union steward for 17 years. He joined the SEA as a member in 1997, has been a part of five master bargaining teams, and served on several committees such as OSC, CBCA, and the Stewards Committee.

A fresh face to the SEA, Mac started working at the front desk in February 2023. He brings six (6) years of experience as an administrative assistant to the role, as well as enthusiasm to meet new faces and new challenges. An organized worker, post-it notes are his favorite tool of the trade. In addition, he is pursuing a bachelor's degree in operations management from SNHU. In his free time, he enjoys looking up new cooking recipes and spending times with cats.

Neil Smith

Neil is an SEA Field Rep/Negotiator and has been with the SEA for almost ten years. He served in the Army Reserves for ten years prior and retired from a career in Law Enforcement with the NH Department of Corrections after 17 years. Neil now works with our County and Municipal bargaining units to negotiate contracts, represent employees when needed, and organize local chapters. He enjoys the finer things in life during his off-duty time, spending time with his family traveling to beautiful locations such as Italy and Greece. If he's not working, you can bet he's making plans for his next big adventure.

Randy Hunneyman

Randy has been involved with the SEA for over 26 years working first as a union member and later as an SEA staff member. During his time as a union representative, Randy has worked hard to represent members and improve relationships between employees and the State government. When he is not working, you might catch Randy out playing the drums in a few local area music acts. Randy says playing music is an awesome creative outlet in a busy world. Randy has been on staff with us since 2012.

Rich is the SEA's president; he has been a proud union member since 1999 and he is an employee of the NH Liquor Commission. He oversees the day-to-day operations at the SEA and manages the union's efforts to engage and recruit members. He is often found speaking at rallies, State House events, and community engagement events interfacing with members across the state. He is the voice of the SEA that uplifts members' interests. In his spare time, he enjoys the winter months here in NH, snowmobiling and spending time with his wife.

Riley Pfeffer

Riley is one of the SEA's newest employees, and he joins the SEA as a Field Representative 1. Riley comes to us with over ten years of customer service experience. He also worked for six years in healthcare, directly with patients and clinical staff, and has always loved helping the people in his community. In his free time, Riley loves challenging his mind with Chess, Sudoku puzzles, and Crosswords. He lives in Concord with his fiancé Leslie and their two cats.

Sean Bolton

After serving the SEA in various member roles, Sean joined the full-time staff as a Grievance Representative in 2013. An invaluable member of the SEA's legal department, Sean represents members who have contractual and administrative disputes with their employers. When Sean is not working, he enjoys a creative career as a self-published author with two novels to his name. Sean's imagination frequently gets the best of him. He knew he wanted to write stories at a very young age and prefers paranormal thrillers and psychological satire. He also has an awesome golden retriever!

Tina Fillion

Tina has been with the SEA since 2017. She supports management and staff with all financial responsibilities. Her extensive experience as a business owner makes Tina resourceful, fiscally responsible, and Customer Service oriented. She and her family recently relocated to Florida, where she is enjoying the warm weather. Tina is always a phone call away for staff or members with any financial inquiries.

Tom Macholl

Tom is a Desert Storm veteran and also a retired officer from the Connecticut State Police. During his time there, he held roles as a Steward has participated in bargaining teams while he was a member of the Connecticut State Police Union. Following his retirement, he spent nearly seven years working at the New Hampshire Department of Corrections where he served as a Steward, co-chair for bargaining, and as the Vice President of SEA Chapter 255. Tom also enjoys traveling with his wife Fran, and when home they enjoy spending time with their four dogs and two cats. Please join us in welcoming Tom to his new role with the SEA!
