SREB is a nonpartisan, nonprofit interstate compact headquartered in Atlanta. Our 16 states are Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia and West Virginia. Our work is funded by appropriations from our states, as well as by contracts and grants from foundations and from local, state and federal agencies... The Southern Regional Education Board works with states to improve public education at every level, from early childhood through doctoral education.
