Stewart, Sr. Mr. Stewart moved to the Aiken area in 1951 during the construction of the Atomic Energy Commission's Savannah River Plant. Seeing the need in the Aiken area for a quality Home Builder, Mr. Stewart formed Stewart Builders in 1955.
