INTERNATIONAL STORYTELLING CENTER (ISC)

The International Storytelling Center (ISC) is located in the heart of downtown Jonesborough. The ISC campus consists of the historic Chester Inn, the Mary B. Martin Storytelling Hall, the ISC gift shop, and the Jimmy Neil Smith Storytelling Park... The International Storytelling Center is famous for the Storytelling Live! concert series, and offers education through workshops, venue rental, and more... Performance includes ISC's staged events, which span storytelling, music, spoken-word poetry, other oral traditions, and emerging forms. Our signature programming includes Storytelling Live! and the National Storytelling Festival. Each year, we produce more than 300 hours of live performances on our stages.
