St. Francis de Sales was founded in 1949 by five Sisters of Mercy, at the invitation of Monsignor Eugene Stout. The school opened with 105 students in 1950, and expanded the next year to serve students in kindergarten through eighth grade... At St. Francis, we offer a complete academic program for students, beginning with our pre-kindergarten program for three- and four-year-olds. Our primary school program covers kindergarten through second grade, and our intermediate school program includes third through fifth grade. Our middle school program covers sixth through eighth grades. Daily religion classes are part of every program, starting with our pre-kindergarten classes.
