MINNESOTA STROKE ASSOCIATION

Since its founding in 1992, the Minnesota Stroke Association has been a pivotal nonprofit organization in the state's stroke community, elevating stroke awareness and offering vital services. Our leadership includes a diverse 24-member Board of Directors, encompassing stroke survivors, individuals with brain injuries, their family members, and professionals from the field. Our core mission is to raise awareness about stroke and enhance the quality of life for all people coping with its sudden and long-term effects... In 2010, anticipating the value of integrated support, the Minnesota Stroke Association merged with the Minnesota Brain Injury Alliance. This merger consolidated the expertise and resources of our two organizations, enhancing our ability to serve Minnesotans affected by stroke and brain injury... The Minnesota Stroke Association supports Minnesotans affected by stroke through advocacy, public policy, resource facilitation, case management and education.
