The SYMF Video Competitions were launched in the summer of 2020 in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. 2020 has been a year of change and adjustment for everyone, and SYMF is pleased that we could still offer our competition to the music community... The Southwestern Youth Music Festival (SYMF) is a 501c3 non-profit music organization. SYMF offers, through its competitive programs and masterclasses, an incentive to study music... The SYMF Masterclass Series was launched in the fall of 2019 to provide our Festival/Competition Winners the opportunity to play for world renowned artists.
