ST. MARY'S ON THE HILL

Greetings from St. Mary's on the Hill N.S. We are a mixed primary school on the north side of Cork City. We are located in Knocknaheeny and are very much part of a strong vibrant community... St. Mary's on the Hill N.S. was founded in 1980 and over the years our staff has increased to 30 teachers, 14 SNAs, 2 Childcare workers, Creche staff and ancillary staff. We also now have an Early Start, Playland Creche, 3 Autism Classes and a class for children with Mild General Learning Difficulties... In St. Mary's on the Hill N.S. we celebrate the uniqueness of each child and aim to nurture them in all aspects of their life. We aim to cherish and challenge our pupils in a safe, secure and attractive learning environment, with our dedicated staff leading in teaching and learning and a great variety of extracurricular activities. We strive also to empower parents in their child's education and in the life of the school, enjoying many exciting activities together throughout the school year.
