Debbie has danced for over 46 years. She has been trained in ballet, jazz, tap and modern by teachers from San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, New York, London and France. Currently, Debbie teaches group ballet and jazz classes at Starlight Dance Studio as well as private lessons by appointment. She is also on staff in the Theatre Department at St. Augustine High School as Choreographer and Assistant Director. Recent productions include Jesus Christ Superstar, West Side Story, Music Man, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, Seusical, Little Shop of Horrors and Oklahoma.

Michael has been training and dancing for the past 20 years, in most styles of Partner Dancing. As one of the top Champion West Coast Swing Professionals Michael has been traveling, teaching and performing not only in the United States but in countries like Canada, France, Switzerland, Germany, Russia, United Kingdom, Brazil and Australia. He is known for his instruction, choreography, unique style, approach and quality. Michael is dedicated to the growth of all Dance as a fun and exciting social activity for everyone to enjoy.
Michael started teaching dance at the young age 17. His first professional teaching job was at a local nite club where he taught Cha Cha & Hustle to large groups. It was not very long after that when Michael began teaching full time at a dance studio in San Diego. Within two years time he was offered a teaching position with another more reputable studio in La Jolla, CA. Here Michael implemented other skills: Graphic artist/Advertising specialist/Studio Management. It did not take long for Michael to realize his dream of owning his own studio, so in 1982 he opened Starlight Dance Studio. Starlight has since grown to six times its original size with over 20 very talented instructors and the student population growing every day!

Originally from Tucson, Stephen is one of the few instructors who has competed in nearly every style of dance sport. His experience as a teacher and competitor has helped him to develop a unique style of teaching that makes learning to dance easy.
Larisa Tingle has been in love with music her whole life, from violinist to vocalist and finally to dancer. She is now competing at a champion level and excited to share her dancing dream with her partner Tony. In addition to competing and teaching, Larisa started djing at local dances in Southern California but got known quickly for her groovy late night "Tingle Time" sets, becoming one of the sought after Dj's on the convention circuit around the country.
