Our History 1964 The Paper Store begins with founder Bob Anderson at their first location as a small yet bustling newspaper & magazine shop in historic downtown Maynard, MA. 1990's The decade brings tremendous growth with an addition of 9 stores in Massachusetts, establishing The Paper Store as the local retailer for gifts. 2014 The company's 50th anniversary is celebrated company-wide with a large Friends & Family celebration. 2018 The 80th store opens, and this time outside of New England-in Amherst, NY-broadening The Paper Store's horizons. 2019 The Paper Store continues its New York expansion and adds 6 stores on Long Island. 2020 A new chapter begins. The Paper Store, LLC is sold and now operates as TPS Group Holdings, LLC. The company continues to brand itself to consumers as "The Paper Store." 2021 The Paper Store expands outside of the Northeast for the first time in the company's history. 13 new stores are added in Florida. 2022 The Company launches its first "Signature..
