THE CHILDREN'S HOME

Established in 1863, The Children's Home provides residential therapeutic care to youth 13 to 21 years of age who have experienced abuse, neglect, violence, abandonment, or are in need of supervised care. The Home's trauma-informed services provide an opportunity for residents to learn and grow into adulthood... Residents come from across Maryland to live on our 44-acre campus, attend public schools, develop self-esteem, and experience trusting relationships with peers and adults. Our programs focus on enhancing each child's ability to function successfully in society with attention to accountability and community safety... The Children's Home in Maryland offers residential services to kids ages 13-20 in need of a home, care, and therapeutic services.
