Brian attended Georgetown University, then Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), where he earned his Bachelor of Science degree in 2011. He continued at EKU, earning a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies in 2013.
Dr. Edwards graduated from the Indiana University School of Medicine in 2009 and completed her residency in urology at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. She earned her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Indiana University, Bloomington. A member of the American Urological Association as well as the Société Internationale d'Urologie, Dr. Edwards is licensed in the commonwealth of Kentucky and the state of Ohio. She currently serves as Chief Medical Officer for The Urology Group.
Christina Mikhail is a Physician Assistant who joined The Urology Group in 2023. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology at Murray State University and then went on to the University of Kentucky College of Health and Sciences, where she earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree.
Prior to joining The Urology Group in 2023, Christy worked as a PA in Pediatric Neurosurgery at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center for six years. Before that she worked in emergency medicine at Elizabethtown Emergency Department for three years.

Earl Walz serves as the Chief Executive Officer of The Urology Group and brings decades of operational experience in both the business and clinical aspects of health care. Prior to being appointed CEO, he served as Chief Operating Officer for The Urology Group. A Certified Medical Practice Executive, Earl sits on several corporate and government medical advisory boards and is a co-founder of the Large Urology Group Practice Association.

Dr. Kirsh graduated from the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine in 1984. He received his surgical training at the University of Cincinnati Medical Center and his urology training at University Hospitals of Cleveland, Case Western Reserve University. Dr. Kirsh has been certified by the American Board of Urology and is licensed in the state of Ohio. He is a member of the American Urological Association, the American Association of Clinical Urologists, the Large Urology Group Practice Association, The Ohio State Medical Association and the Cincinnati Academy of Medicine.

Physician Assistant John Frankel joined The Urology Group in 2023. He earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychological Studies from Miami University and then continued his studies at Sullivan University, where he earned a Master of Science in Physician Assistant degree.
Prior to joining the group, John worked as an Emergency Room Technician with The Christ Hospital Health Network and as an ambulance Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) in Illinois.
John is licensed as an Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) provider, as well as Nationally Registered as an Emergency Medical Technician (NREMT), and an Illinois Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
