WEAC also makes life better for all of Wisconsin's residents by championing efforts to protect children and the promise of public education... Established in 1992, The WEA Academy is a 501 (c) (3) nonprofit corporation providing educators with quality, needs-based professional development. Our courses are effective tools for teachers because they are created by teachers. Teachers design our courses to accelerate professional growth through online collaboration with both the instructor and colleagues on today's relevant topics. Courses emphasize practical application to the daily work of teachers and education support professionals (ESPs)... Through WEAC, educators join together to provide the best resources for students, support each other and keep public schools strong.
