Barbara Pralle is the Associate Director for Content & Discovery. She oversees the Collection and User Services departments including Acquisitions, Cataloging, Collection Development, ILL/Document Delivery, and Access Services.
Ms. Pralle began at Johns Hopkins in 2007 as Head of the Entrepreneurial Library Program in the Sheridan Libraries, where she led development of new services, managed service scaling, and led operations streamlining initiatives. She assumed her current role in 2021. Prior to joining Johns Hopkins, she worked for a decade in scientific publishing and information services.
Education
Ms. Pralle received her bachelor's degree from Swarthmore College, and M.B.A from the University of Chicago. She also is a PMI certified Project Management Professional, and completed Green Belt certification with the John Hopkins Lean Six Sigma Fellowship Program.

David Kennedy is the Associate Director for Digital Systems and Services. He oversees the architecture and infrastructure behind the Welch Library web site and which supports Welch operations, human to human services, and digital library services.

Will Bryant is the Associate Director for Finance and Administration. He is responsible for the fiscal operations of the Welch Library, manages human resources activities, and oversees property management.
Mr. Bryant began his career with the Welch Library at Johns Hopkins in 1988 as an Administrative Manager and was promoted to Financial Manager in 1991. He became the library administrator in the mid 90's and ultimately, the Associate Director, Finance and Administration. His previous experience includes several years in the for-profit sector, as Controller for the Johns Hopkins Sheraton hotel, and as Staff Accountant at Broadway Services, Inc.
Education
Mr. Bryant received his bachelor's degree from Towson University, and M.B.A. from the University of Baltimore. He also received a Business of Medicine certificate from Johns Hopkins University.
