A 440 PIANO - Key Persons

Joseph D. Gotta is a Charlotte native, and has been tuning, maintaining and repairing pianos since 1987. His love of music and ability to play several instruments led to his choosing a profession in this field. He is a graduate of the CPCC piano tuning and repair program. He became a Registered Piano Technician in 1990. Shortly thereafter, he started his own business, A 440 Piano Service. The A 440 stands for "Standard Pitch", also known as "Concert", or "Factory" pitch.
