AAIS - Key Persons
Liliana Moncada is a native of the Dominican Republic. She graduated from the Adventist university there with a Bachelor of Science in Primary Education and a minor in Psychology. Her expertise has been incomparable during her tenure at AAIS.
The primary grades are Mrs. Moncada's specialty. She loves teaching this fun, curious age group because they are excited and eager to learn everything. Mrs. Moncada has a particular way of caring for each child as an individual. She addresses not only academic development, but spiritual, social, cognitive, emotional and language development.
Mrs. Moncada is able to masterfully teach due to her years of experience in this field. She has taught in several other countries, as well as the American public school system. She has spent a large amount of time teaching in multicultural and bilingual settings. Regardless of the environment, Mrs. Moncada is sure to set up a rich, inviting environment that provides each child with the opportunity to learn and perform at an optimal level. She truly loves being a part of the growth and development of her students.
