Cheryl Mayeran is a Senior Simulation Learning Consultant who develops curriculum and designs and implements healthcare simulations. She conducts faculty development courses in basic and advanced debriefing and serves as a preceptor for new simulation faculty. Cheryl has extensive experience in program development, project management, emergency medical services education, emergency management operations and planning, and public health administration. She holds a BS in biology from Fairfield University, and a MS in public health administration from Boston University School of Medicine.

Chris Banziruk is a Simulation Operations Specialist. He designs and coordinates the implementation of simulation technology to meet education needs throughout the health system. He gained experience in medical device testing, product validation, and tissue handling in both settings. With this experience, he provides in-situ simulation support across YNHHS hospitals with the goal of strengthening learner outcomes through behavioral and simulation assessments. When he is not in simulation, he is pursuing a master's degree in neuroscience and he is a member of the Medical Reserves Corps of Fairfield County.

Dr. Kathlene Tracy is a Clinical Psychologist within the Mental Health and Wellness Program and leads Psychotherapy Development at Yale School of Medicine (YSM) and Mental Health and Counseling (MHC)-Yale Health. Dr. Tracy has over three decades of experience developing and delivering addiction and psychiatric treatments while in joint clinical and research positions at academic institutions and affiliated treatment settings leading services within inpatient, outpatient, and community settings within the mental health field. Because of her expertise in measurement, design, training, and behavioral treatments, Dr. Tracy has been an active national committee member of the NIDA MDRU's Clinical Methods Committee and Psychosocial Treatments Committee and the NIDA CTN Assessment and Measures Committee and Training Subcommittee as well as a valued merit grant reviewer for several PCORI and NIH/NIDA initiatives. Dr. Tracy has additional proficiency in mental health evidenced based treatment development and translation into practice and has been an invited reviewer of the SAMHSA grant delivery structure, in addition to, Treatment Improvement Projects (TIP) for developing national guidelines. Within institutions, she has been active on local committees to safeguard the protection of subjects in research trials, ensure quality research methodology, and promote psychosocial rehabilitation clinical services. Dr. Tracy has a longstanding interest in providing state of the art quality care and has received Stage I and Stage II behavioral therapies development funding from multiple sources including NIDA and NIAAA as well as funding from federal/state agencies. Dr. Tracy looks forward to applying these skills in continued efforts to improve the wellness and wellbeing of others.

Since 2011, the Program for Biomedical Ethics at Yale School of Medicine has served as a nexus for a community of individuals from throughout the medical campus and beyond who share a common interest in education, research, and clinical practice in the field of medical ethics. I welcome you on behalf of myself and our Co-Director Dr. Jennifer Miller, and our associate directors, Dr. Jack Hughes, Dr. Sarah Hull, and our program manager Karen P. Kolb.
Our affiliated faculty and staff is drawn from the Yale School of Medicine as well as members of the Schools of Nursing, Law, Divinity, Epidemiology and Public Health and Yale-New Haven Hospital staff, colleagues from the Interdisciplinary Center for Bioethics, The Hastings Center and others. The Program for Biomedical Ethics incorporates a diverse group that brings a wide range of experience and expertise to the table. Many of those on our affiliated faculty and staff are known nationally and internationally in the field of bioethics.
Our program coordinates the ethics education of Yale medical students over the course of the four years, including assistance for those who choose to write their thesis in this area. In addition, educational programs are provided for other members of the Yale medical community, such as journal clubs, working groups and special conferences.
Each academic year, we have a wonderful slate of local and invited speakers for our monthly evening seminar series.

Sundari brings compassion, curiosity, and a wealth of knowledge from professional and personal experience to the student wellness counselor role. She holds dual master's degrees in social work and public health from the University of Connecticut, where she specialized in behavioral health integrated care. Sundari has worked in diverse clinical settings (outpatient substance use treatment, primary care, women's health care, higher education) and has developed strong interprofessional communication skills through her work with first- and second-year medical students at UConn Health/Connecticut Area Health Education Center. A registered yoga teacher and mindfulness facilitator, Sundari specializes in mindfulness-based interventions for stress and anxiety. She has a particular interest in the equitable delivery of wellness services to all and is passionate about working with individuals with disabilities.
