Mr. Alan Quasha - Chairman

Mr. Alan Quasha founded Quadrant and is responsible for managing investments and overseeing the firm. He is also a Managing Partner and Co-Founder of Vanterra Capital. Mr. Quasha serves on numerous boards and is also on the investment committee of Trilantic Capital Partners Fund IV, and member of the General Partner and investment committee of Vanterra Transformative Energy & Materials Fund I, L.P. In addition to being a Chairman of Brean Capital, LLC, Mr. Quasha is also a Chairman of Arc Group Worldwide and a Co-Charman of Carret Asset Management, LLC. During his extensive career, Mr. Quasha has invested in hundreds of companies in the U.S. and emerging markets. Many of these investments were restructuring and turnaround situations involving significant hands-on operating experience. He served as a Director of Richemont SA from 1988 until he joined the Board of Compagnie Financière Richemont SA (a world leading luxury goods company). He currently serves as a Director of The Fullbridge Program and the Ackerman Institute for the Family. He is also Chairman of HKN, Inc. (a publicly traded independent oil and gas company), and Chairman of the Brain Trauma Foundation. He was a past Director of American Express Funds and a former Governor of the American Stock Exchange. Mr. Quasha holds a bachelor's degree from Harvard College, an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master of Law degree from New York University Law School, and a Doctorate of Law from the Harvard Law School.

Mr. Robert Fine - CEO

Mr. Robert Fine is the Chief Executive Officer of Brean Capital and a substantial investor in the Firm. Previously, Mr. Fine was Executive Managing Director and Head of Mortgage Backed Securities/Asset Backed Securities & Rates at Gleacher & Company and its predecessor firm, Broadpoint. Before Gleacher, Mr. Fine founded Descap Securities, Inc., which he sold to Gleacher (First Albany) in 2004. Prior to founding Descap, Mr. Fine worked at Garvin Guy Butler in mortgage backed trading. He began his career at Smith Barney and Kidder, Peadbody & Co. Mr. Fine received a BA in Economics and Finance from Adelphi University. He holds Series 7, 24, 52, 63, 73, 79 and 99 licenses.

Mr. Robert Tirschwell

Mr. Robert Tirschwell is the Head of Trading at Brean Capital and a substantial investor in the Firm. Previously, Mr. Tirschwell was Head of Trading at Gleacher & Company and its predecessor firm Broadpoint, which he joined along with Mr. Fine in 2004 upon the sale of Descap to Broadpoint. Under his leadership, Descap, which began as a specified pool trading house, became a diversified mortgage and asset backed securities operation. Rob holds a BA from the University of Wisconsin, Madison. He holds Series 7, 24, 63, 72, 73 & 99 licenses.

Peter McNierney - CEO

Mr. McNierney is an Executive Managing Director of Brean Capital and a member of the firm's Operating Committee. Mr. McNierney previously was President & Chief Operating Officer and a member of the Board of Directors of Gleacher & Company, Inc. Prior to that, he was CEO and Head of Investment Banking for Broadpoint, the predecessor of Gleacher & Company. Earlier in his career, he was a Managing Director in the Healthcare and Communications Technology investment banking groups at Robertson Stephens & Company and a Vice President in the Healthcare investment banking group at Smith Barney, Harris, Upham & Co., Inc. During his 23 year career, Mr. McNierney has been involved in several hundred equity and debt public offerings, private placements and merger & acquisition and strategic advisory assignments for public and private companies in a diverse range of industries. Mr. McNierney obtained his BA and JD/MBA from The University of Texas at Austin. He holds Series 7, 24, 63, 79 & 99 licenses.
