Buffalo Common Wealth LLC was formed with the intention of investing money into micro businesses and cooperatives in the Western New York region which are working towards food sustainability, ecological sustainability and economic stability of underserved areas... The loans we make are negotiated with the goal of mutual success. We strive to create terms that meet the needs of the borrower, as well as ensure a reasonable return on investment. Interest rates are based on many factors including the credit history of the principals, value of collateral, past performance of the business, etc..... We are a privately held Community Development loan fund which provides loans to locally owned businesses and cooperatives in WNY. We strive to make loans to small businesses and cooperatives that have a positive impact on our local food systems, environment and economy.
